Raymond Kiel - Raymond Kiel, age 75, of Fullerton, Calif., formerly of Orange City, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at his residence.Memorial services were held on Thursday, July 3, at 11:00 a.m., at the Newkirk Reformed Church in rural Hospers with the Rev. Dennis Hietbrink officiating. Interment was held prior to the service at the Newkirk Cemetery. Raymond was born on February 21, 1933, at Maurice, the son of John and Marie (Huisman) Kiel. He was raised on a farm between Orange City and Maurice. He received his education at the Northwestern Classical Academy in Orange City, Morningside College in Sioux City, and the San Diego State University in Calif., where he earned his Masters' degree.
